County job postings worth checking - what worked for you?

The city and county near Hartford both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. It has been weighing on me all week. Hiring is slower than private jobs.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 2 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
