County job postings worth checking - what worked for you?

Idris Winters · 2026-04-15T13:47:02.178Z

The city and county near Hartford both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Hiring is slower than private jobs. Anyone applied for one?

It took me about two months from application to offer. Apply early and keep your contact details current.
