County job postings worth checking - what worked for you?

The city and county near Detroit both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. I worked as a social media manager before this. Some need a short exam. How long did it take to hear back?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
