County job postings worth checking - first time posting

The city and county near Wichita both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. Hiring is slower than private jobs. Anyone applied for one?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
