County job postings worth checking

The city and county near Jacksonville both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. I worked as a call-centre agent before this. Hiring is slower than private jobs. Do they prefer local residents?

It took me about two months from application to offer. Apply early and keep your contact details current.
