County job postings worth checking - any advice?

The school district in Jacksonville is hiring support staff. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Applications close on a fixed date and need a full work history. Do they prefer local residents?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

It took me about two months from application to offer. Apply early and keep your contact details current.
