County job postings worth checking after 3 years as a mechanic

The school district in Buffalo is hiring support staff. It has been weighing on me all week. Hiring is slower than private jobs. Do they prefer local residents?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
