County job postings worth checking after 17 years as a welding apprentice

Gabriel Castellano · 2026-05-12T02:56:02.995Z

The city and county near Cleveland both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. There are 17 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Hiring is slower than private jobs. Anyone applied for one?

The exam was simple, mostly clerical skills. Practice material is usually on the same website.
