County job postings worth checking after 10 years as a project coordinator

The city and county near Louisville both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. Hiring is slower than private jobs. How long did it take to hear back?

It took me about two months from application to offer. Apply early and keep your contact details current.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 12 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
