County job postings worth checking after 10 years as a machine operator

The city and county near Boston both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. There are 10 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Applications close on a fixed date and need a full work history. Anyone applied for one?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
