City government openings this month - what worked for you?

The city and county near Louisville both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Applications close on a fixed date and need a full work history. Anyone applied for one?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
