City government openings this month - what worked for you?

Alex Reyes · 2026-07-24T13:44:32.643Z

The city and county near Columbus both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Hiring is slower than private jobs. Anyone applied for one?

It took me about two months from application to offer. Apply early and keep your contact details current.
