City government openings this month - what worked for you?

The school district in Chicago is hiring support staff. Thank you in advance. Some need a short exam. Do they prefer local residents?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

It took me about two months from application to offer. Apply early and keep your contact details current.
