City government openings this month (update)

The city and county near Pittsburgh both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. I am in Pittsburgh, in case local advice matters. Some need a short exam. Anyone applied for one?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
