City government openings this month, payroll clerk here

The city and county near Milwaukee both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. I am in Milwaukee, in case local advice matters. Applications close on a fixed date and need a full work history. How long did it take to hear back?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

The exam was simple, mostly clerical skills. Practice material is usually on the same website.
