City government openings this month - first time posting

The city and county near Boston both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. I am in Boston, in case local advice matters. Hiring is slower than private jobs. Anyone applied for one?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 10 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
