City government openings this month - first time posting

The city and county near Jacksonville both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some need a short exam. How long did it take to hear back?

The exam was simple, mostly clerical skills. Practice material is usually on the same website.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
