City government openings this month - any advice?

Morgan Halvorsen · 2026-07-08T20:37:19.579Z

The city and county near Phoenix both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. It has been weighing on me all week. Hiring is slower than private jobs. How long did it take to hear back?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
