City government openings this month - any advice?

Riley Marchetti · 2026-06-23T11:22:36.611Z

The city and county near Milwaukee both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Applications close on a fixed date and need a full work history. Anyone applied for one?

Follow the instructions exactly. They screen out applications with missing sections.

It took me about two months from application to offer. Apply early and keep your contact details current.
