City government openings this month after 13 years as a retail manager

The city and county near Birmingham both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. I do not usually post, so bear with me. Hiring is slower than private jobs. Anyone applied for one?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

It took me about two months from application to offer. Apply early and keep your contact details current.
