City government openings this month

The city and county near Salt Lake City both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. It has been a long 25 weeks. Applications close on a fixed date and need a full work history. Do they prefer local residents?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
