City government openings this month - 6 weeks in

The city and county near Raleigh both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Some need a short exam. Do they prefer local residents?

The exam was simple, mostly clerical skills. Practice material is usually on the same website.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 13 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
