City government openings this month

The city and county near Austin both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. Hiring is slower than private jobs. Anyone applied for one?

It took me about two months from application to offer. Apply early and keep your contact details current.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
