City government openings this month - 4 months and counting

The city and county near Omaha both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Hiring is slower than private jobs. Anyone applied for one?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
