The city and county near Honolulu both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. This is my first time dealing with any of this. Hiring is slower than private jobs. Anyone applied for one?

The exam was simple, mostly clerical skills. Practice material is usually on the same website.

It took me about two months from application to offer. Apply early and keep your contact details current.
