City government openings this month - 26 weeks in

The city and county near Pittsburgh both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Hiring is slower than private jobs. Do they prefer local residents?

It took me about two months from application to offer. Apply early and keep your contact details current.
