City government openings this month - 15 weeks in

The city and county near Hartford both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Hiring is slower than private jobs. Anyone applied for one?

It took me about two months from application to offer. Apply early and keep your contact details current.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
