City government openings this month - 11 weeks in

The city and county near Atlanta both posted administrative and maintenance openings this week. I have been trying to stay organised about it. Applications close on a fixed date and need a full work history. Do they prefer local residents?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
