Apprenticeship openings for electricians and welders - what worked for you?

The training centre near Baltimore opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. There are 11 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. The application needs a diploma or equivalent, a driver's licence and a short aptitude test. How hard is the test?

You earn while you learn, but the first year is tight. Plan your budget carefully.
