Apprenticeship openings for electricians and welders

The training centre near Birmingham opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. The application needs a diploma or equivalent, a driver's licence and a short aptitude test. Did anyone go through it?

You earn while you learn, but the first year is tight. Plan your budget carefully.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 13 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
