Apprenticeship openings for electricians and welders after 7 years as a customer-service rep

I heard of an apprenticeship with paid on-the-job training for people changing careers. It has been a long 14 weeks. The application needs a diploma or equivalent, a driver's licence and a short aptitude test. What do you wish you had known?

Visit the training centre in person if you can. Seeing the classrooms helped me decide.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 13 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
