Apprenticeship openings for electricians and welders after 16 years as a line cook

The training centre near Knoxville opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. There are 16 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. Classes are in the evening and work is during the day. How hard is the test?

You earn while you learn, but the first year is tight. Plan your budget carefully.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
