Apprenticeship openings for electricians and welders after 15 years as a marketing coordinator

The training centre near Hartford opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. It has been weighing on me all week. Classes are in the evening and work is during the day. Did anyone go through it?

The aptitude test was mostly maths and reading a diagram. Free practice tests online were enough for me.
