Apprenticeship openings for electricians and welders - 9 months and counting

The training centre near Little Rock opened applications for apprenticeships in electrical and welding trades. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Classes are in the evening and work is during the day. What do you wish you had known?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
