Who watches the kids during interviews? - what worked for you?

I have 12 kids and I need to interview and work without a sitter. There are 12 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I looked into subsidies but the forms are long. What worked for you?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 10 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
