Who watches the kids during interviews? - what worked for you?

I have 8 kids and I need to interview and work without a sitter. It has been a long 11 weeks. I looked into subsidies but the forms are long. Is there an emergency option?

Our county's childcare assistance took about 11 weeks to approve, but it covered most of the cost.
