Who watches the kids during interviews? - what worked for you?

The daycare near me wants more than I can pay. It has been weighing on me all week. I looked into subsidies but the forms are long. What worked for you?

Our county's childcare assistance took about 5 weeks to approve, but it covered most of the cost.
