Who watches the kids during interviews? - what worked for you?

I have 4 kids and I need to interview and work without a sitter. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I looked into subsidies but the forms are long. Is there an emergency option?

Ask the school about after-school programmes. Some are free or based on income.

Libraries and community centres run free activities that gave me a couple of hours.
