Who watches the kids during interviews? after 18 years as a hotel front-desk agent

My hours will change when I find a job and childcare is my biggest worry. I am in Columbus, in case local advice matters. A neighbour offered help but not every day. What worked for you?

Our county's childcare assistance took about 5 weeks to approve, but it covered most of the cost.
