Who watches the kids during interviews?

I have 9 kids and I need to interview and work without a sitter. It has been a long 7 weeks. I looked into subsidies but the forms are long. What worked for you?

I swapped afternoons with another parent. It took some planning and saved us both money.

Libraries and community centres run free activities that gave me a couple of hours.
