I have 9 kids and I need to interview and work without a sitter. There are 9 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I am willing to trade favours. How long did subsidies take?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Our county's childcare assistance took about 6 weeks to approve, but it covered most of the cost.
