Who watches the kids during interviews?

I have 12 kids and I need to interview and work without a sitter. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I looked into subsidies but the forms are long. What worked for you?

Libraries and community centres run free activities that gave me a couple of hours.

Our county's childcare assistance took about 3 weeks to approve, but it covered most of the cost.
