My hours will change when I find a job and childcare is my biggest worry. It has been a long 3 weeks. I looked into subsidies but the forms are long. Is there an emergency option?

Ask the school about after-school programmes. Some are free or based on income.

Our county's childcare assistance took about 3 weeks to approve, but it covered most of the cost.
