Which free résumé tools do you trust? - what worked for you?

I am looking for free tools that do not spam me. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. A spreadsheet with dates and follow-ups worked a little. Any good templates?

Use a plain one-column résumé with standard headings. Mine got more replies after I simplified it.
