Which free résumé tools do you trust? - what worked for you?

I need a résumé template that passes automated screening. I have been trying to stay organised about it. A spreadsheet with dates and follow-ups worked a little. Are there tools to avoid?

Your library may offer free access to paid learning and résumé services. Mine did.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
