Which free résumé tools do you trust? - what worked for you?

I need a résumé template that passes automated screening. Thank you in advance. A spreadsheet with dates and follow-ups worked a little.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
