I am tracking my applications in a notebook and want something better. Any experience at all would help. I do not want to pay for premium features. What do you use?

Use a plain one-column résumé with standard headings. Mine got more replies after I simplified it.

A simple spreadsheet with company, date, contact and next step was all I needed.
