Which free résumé tools do you trust? - 3 months and counting

I am looking for free tools that do not spam me. I do not usually post, so bear with me. A spreadsheet with dates and follow-ups worked a little. Any good templates?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 3 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

A simple spreadsheet with company, date, contact and next step was all I needed.
