What does your daily routine look like while job hunting? (update)

Since my layoff as an accounts payable clerk I have no real structure. I am in Detroit, in case local advice matters. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. How many hours do you really work on the search?

Write a short list the night before. Waking up with a plan is a relief.
