What does your daily routine look like while job hunting? (Boston)

I have been out of work for 11 weeks and my days blur together. I am in Boston, in case local advice matters. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. How many hours do you really work on the search?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
